Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch, Auburn

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were not so clean initially, feeling like an icebox, but after cleaning, they were very clean and comfortable with a king bed and whirlpool bath. The service was pleasant throughout, although they were very busy, it was still fun. There was an incident where a guest in our group was told her bare feet were "unacceptable," which was a bit awkward. The hotel's location was excellent, allowing a nice stroll along the riverwalk to other restaurants and activities. The dining experience was nice and hot, especially the meaty pizza, although the pancakes and sausage were just okay. Facilities were good too.

The hotel was convenient, but the lack of assistance made me feel like the staff was uninterested. The view of the HVAC equipment was disappointing, but the kindness of the staff was very appreciated.

The hotel had its ups and downs. While the rooms were clean and spacious, I didn't feel the staff was very interested in helping during a full hotel situation. On the bright side, the service was outstanding, with a staff member going above and beyond to decorate our room. The location was a bit scary but ended up being perfect, especially for parking. The dining was quite good, and the facilities were satisfactory.
